We will pick up once again and conclude our sermon series entitled (I)n Follow.  The message will be based on Matthew 11:28-30 and is called I Will.

We will continue in our sermon series (I)n Follow by turning to Matthew 10:32-39 in a message entitled Intimate.  May we continue to follow Jesus and be shaped by Him as His disciples.

We are going to continue in our new sermon series on discipleship entitled (I)n Follow by turning once again to the Gospel of Mark, specifically Mark 8:31-38.  The message is called I Deny.  

“Following Jesus” is a phrase we use to describe a Christian.  We see disciples in the Bible physically following Jesus, but what does that mean for us today?  We begin a new sermon series where we will explore that very question.  So whether you are simply interested in what it means to follow Jesus or are already following Him, we invite you to walk with us for four Sundays and discover what it means to follow Jesus through a sermon series called The “I” in Follow.  The first message will be based on Mark 1:16-20 and is called Imitate.    

We will close out our sermon series entitled Something More by looking at the last aspect of our vision which is Disciples Multiplied.  We will turn with Pastor Brad to I Corinthians 13:1-3.  Continue to pray that we will “Connect People to Jesus” so that the result is “Disciples Made, Matured, Multiplied.”

We will continue in breaking down the vision of Connect Church by seeing and desiring together for disciples of Jesus to be made.  To do this, we will turn to John 3:22-36 in a message entitled Disciples Made.

We will continue in our sermon series called Something More by turning to the VISION of Connect Church, which is “Disciples Made, Matured, Multiplied.”  We will break down this statement over the next 4 weeks and we will begin with what it means for us to be Disciples of Jesus.  To do that, Pastor Brad invites you to read with him this week Mark 5:1-20.  

We will turn to the next name of God which is Abba – Father.  Pastor Brad will explore who God is as our Father by turning to Matthew 18:10-14.

We are going to begin a new sermon series entitled Something More.  Recently as a church, we have changed the verbiage of our Mission and Vision Statement.  Our new Mission is CONNECT PEOPLE TO JESUS and our Vision is DISCIPLES MADE, MATURED, MULTIPLIED.  We will take the next 5 Sundays to explore what Connect Church is all about and what we believe God is calling us to be.  Please join us as we begin by looking at our Mission by turning to Mark 1:40-45 through a sermon called A Call to Connect.

We are going to close out our sermon series on the book of Proverbs called Monopoly by examining together how our words matter because we are bought and paid for by Jesus.  Therefore, we turn to Proverbs 11:9-13, 16:23-24 and Philippians 2:14-16a in the final message called Words Avenue.

We will continue in our sermon series on the book of Proverbs called Monopoly by turning to another important area of life that is spoken of in both the book of Proverbs and our culture, which is Alcohol.  To explore this topic as ones who are bought and paid for by Jesus, we will turn to Proverbs 23:29-35 and Ephesians 5:15-20.

 We will see what being bought and paid for by Jesus means when it comes to sex.  We will turn to Proverbs 5:15-19 (found on page 683-684 of your pew Bibles) in a message called Sex Street. 

As we continue in our series on the Ten Commandments, we turn to the sixth commandment which calls us to “not murder.”  To see the gospel of Jesus in this command, we will turn to Genesis 4:1-16 (found on page 4 in your pew Bible)  through a message called Murder in the Heir.

We will continue in our “Monopoly” series on the book of Proverbs by turning to the next aspect of life which is parenting and family.  We will specifically look at Proverbs 3:11-12 & 22:6 (found on pages 681 and 702 in your pew Bibles) in the message entitled Parenting Place.  

We will continue in our sermon series on the book of Proverbs called Monopoly.  The next property in our life that we will examine is the area of justice, because you don’t need to look too far to see or experience injustice.  We will turn to a variety of Proverbs like Proverbs 13:23, 14:20-21, and Proverbs 28:26.  The message is entitled Justice Walk.
